When electric-vehicle maker Tesla Motors unveiled its new “Secondhand cars Guaranteed 2nd Hand Price” program on Tuesday, it did so with a message that’s not exactly news.
The new program, which was announced during the company’s annual shareholder meeting, will allow owners of Tesla’s new Model 3 and Model S vehicles to purchase a secondhand vehicle for $2,500.
It also includes a free two-week trip to Disneyland.
In addition to the free trip, owners can receive a $1,500 gift card to the company, which Tesla says “will help pay for trips and vacations.”
In order to qualify for the program, owners must purchase a Tesla Model 3 or Model S and be in possession of the car’s original warranty and a current vehicle registration in their name.
That means, according to the new program description, if you own a $100,000 vehicle, you can get a free trip to the park with no extra charge.
If you own an $80,000 car, you’ll be able to get a $5,000 trip for free, and a $25,000 gift card will be available.
As with the “Secondlife Guaranteed Car” program, you must be in the U.S. and have the car insured and registered to your name.
The program will also include an annual “First-Time Model S” gift card worth $500 for the first year.
The first 100,000 vehicles in the program will be free.
For those who want to take a closer look at the program itself, Tesla has shared a video explaining the program.
