But there is a new generation of car companies that are opening their doors to new customers and changing the way we drive.
A new breed of car company is now trying to change that.
The Detroit-based Car-For-Hire, based in Detroit, has opened up a factory in the Detroit suburb of Wayne, Michigan, to manufacture its own cars.
The company has a few new things to offer, though.
First, it is moving toward a new model of production: It is now working with a new manufacturing plant, this one in the town of Pontiac.
